The site grandhandicraft managed by Mr. Reza Musa Rezaei, came to us in the feb 2020 to receive private training to improve the site. This site operates in the field of major exports of Iranian handicrafts. This collection was launched in 2014.
After a few sessions, we realized that there should be fundamental changes in the design of the site and its current content. Unfortunately, all the content on the site was translated into English with Google Translate, which had many problems in terms of concept and observance of grammar rules. The content of the site also focused on key phrases that were completely unrelated to the topic of the site. Examining the search console and Google Analytics, we found that despite a large amount of content and the long time it took to launch the site, there were almost no visits to the Google search engine.
Finally, we concluded that within 6 months, we would improve the technical problems of the site, remove all the extra content, and start the SEO from the beginning.

customer’s need
The main need of the customer was to first solve all the technical problems of the site, including security problems, problems related to slow speed, and the presence of 404 pages. It was also emphasized to maintain the format of the site and its appearance.
Then the main priority was to increase the site’s credibility in the Google search engine. Very low site speed, the existence of dozens of unrelated pages related to the WordPress installation package, the existence of more than 20,000 words of articles copied and translated with Google Translate and keywords unrelated to the site activity, the existence of very high volume images … It had caused the site to be fined by Google and, despite several years of experience, to have no input from Google.
And after we had to restore the site’s credibility, it was decided that within a 9-month project period, by producing content, following the principles of white hat SEO, we would try to make the site rank in words related to products and services.
Kicking off the project
First, a full backup of the site was taken and technical work began. Measures such as improving loading speed, improving security, fixing design problems, and modifying the structure of the site (including menus, tabs, imported content, forms, etc.)
Then, the analysis of keywords and malicious links was performed using advanced tools, and based on experience, a list of keywords was obtained to generate content and modify the structure of the current pages of the site and was discussed in a meeting with the employer.
After that, all unrelated content and copy, which had caused the site to be fined, were removed from the site by the standards.
Then the 6-month SEO project started so that we can work after 6 months to restore the lost credibility of the site and the site can be ranked in the Google results list with low-competition terms that were analyzed before the start of the SEO project. All of these phrases were related to the site activity and were selected based on the search of the target audience.
The Result
In the first 10 days, the site security issues were completely resolved. The loading speed of the site improved by more than 80% compared to before, all content that was not copied and complied with SEO standards was removed. The sentences and explanations used on the main page, the Contact Us page, and the About Us page was reviewed and rewritten with the participation of the employer.
This site was redesigned in 25 days. After that, the site was worked on SEO for 9 months and the site was ranked on the first page of Google with words such as ( persian handicrafts suppliers ), ( minakari), ( minakari for sale ), ( minakari vase ), ( copper sugar bowl ), ( persian minakari plate ), (minakari price), (copper spoons and forks) and +1000 related keywords
Before the SEO project, the site had no ranking on Google. According to the customer’s opinion, after the completion of the SEO project, many people message him on WhatsApp to inquire about product prices and place orders.
